The competences of the new generation vis-à-vis the demands of global companies

 

This inaugural study of the NewGen Talent Centre of EDHEC Business School examines the motivations and competencies of the new generation. Beyond the widespread inability of the younger generations to adapt to corporate culture, we have looked into the competencies that companies see in the new generations. Although the millenial generation, or generation Y, may be the subject of many studies, the motivations and soft skills of this generation have, surprisingly, been neglected.
